On Saturday afternoon, November 17, Delaware Youth for Christ and the Market Street Youth Center hosted a city-wide 3 on 3 basketball tournament at the Police Athletic League Center at 37nd and N. Market Streets in the City of Wilmington.

This event was made possible by a generous program grant from JPMorgan Chase and we want to thank them for making this event happen.

We would also like to thank Champion Trophies for donating the trophies and second place ribbons.

The teams were each made up of 3 people, and participated in a round robin tournament, with the two teams with the most wins playing against each other for the championship. After the basketball games were concluded, Market St. Youth Center Director Jason Rayburn addressed the kids and talked about the importance of hard work and discipline in acheiving life goals, as well as acheiving athletic success.
