Delaware Youth for Christ is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization working with at-risk youth in New Castle County, Delaware since 1958. We currently work with approximately 3,000 young people each year through our after-school programs at our youth centers and mentoring program. We are a chartered affiliate of Youth for Christ/USA, which was founded in 1944 by Torrey Johnson and Rev. Billy Graham - who became the first YFC staff member. The organization has continued to grow over the past 60 years, and now operates in more than 2,000 towns and cities around the United States. YFC International is working in the youth cultures of more than 100 countries around the world. Mission Statement: Delaware Youth for Christ is a faith-based organization which partners with the community to see that every young person has the opportunity to reach their full potential - academically, socially and spiritually - enabling them to become positive role models in their families, communities and churches. Financial Information Delaware Youth for Christ is a non-profit organization under IRS Code 501(c)3. All contributions and donations are tax deductible. Our EIN number is 51-6001714 and complete financial statements are available on request. Youth for Christ remains a member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability, and meets all the standards thereof. |
